When will my product ship?
We are back to normal business hours for processing orders (Monday – Friday from 9am-4pm). With this, it could be 48 business hours to get your order out the door. Usually it will be out earlier, but we’d rather surprise you and get it out earlier, than promise and not deliver. Rush 3-day shipping is available on all orders.
Unlike other companies we are only selling product we have in stock and can ship out ensuring you’ll receive what you want in a time when you need it.

Is The Hoo-Rag UV Protective?
Yes. Clothing is rated according to a UPF rating. The higher a UPF rating, the more sun protection a garment offers. Hoo-rags are rated at 30 UPF. According to the American Association of Textile Chemists and Colorists, this rating is “Very Good”.
Is It Too Hot To Wear In The Summer?
Negative! Our fabric offers great sun protection while being extremely lightweight. One Hoo-rag weighs approximately 1 ounce. We have the fabric woven to be breathable and to wick away sweat quickly.
What Is The Hoo-Rag Made Of?
100% polyester microfiber
What Are The Hoo-Rag Dimensions?
Full size Hoo-rags are approximately 20 x 9.5 inches. Half Hoo-rag Headbands are approximately 10 x 9.5 inches. Sub Zeros are the same size as a full length Hoo-rag with an additional 8 inches of polar fleece sewn to the bottom.
GENERAL FAQs
How do I care for or wash the Hoo-Rag?
As with any clothing item we suggest you wash your Hoo-rag before using it to remove any dust or debris from the printing process. Wash in warm or cool water (washing machine is fine) and then hang to dry. Machine drying on any heat may result in shrinkage or lost integrity of the product.
Where do I enter my coupon code and/or store credit?
Enter your coupon code or store credit on the ‘View Cart’ page, before checking out. Hint – It’s the little shopping cart icon in the right corner of the top tool bar.
Is there a store in my area?
There might be! Check out our store locator and search by zip code. By default it searches for any store within 200 miles. If you don’t see any blue dots, there aren’t any stores near you. If you know a store that might be interested, have them call us for details on becoming an authorized dealer!
Why don’t you print certain designs (eg: Sports teams, cartoon characters, video game characters etc)?
Most of the design ideas we receive are related to items or characters that require licensing. At this time it is not possible for Hoo-rag to look into being licensed with every sports team or network. You may continue to submit ideas, but please note that while we no longer respond to design suggestions we do monitor them for trends and will attempt to accommodate requests within reason.
What is the Hoo-rag Return Policy?
Returns may be sent back to Hoo-rag within 30 days. To receive a refund, please include a note detailing your name, your address, your phone number, the e-mail address you used to place the order, and the reason for the return. Exchanges must not be opened. To exchange the product, please include a note detailing your name, your address, your phone number, the e-mail address you used to place the order, and the product you want to change out. Can I Combine a Sale or Clearance Item with a Discount Code?
Unfortunately, you cannot combine a discount code with an item that is on sale or marked down on clearance. We strive to give you the best deal possible on our rad gear, so when you find our marked-down builder you can rest assured that you are getting our best possible price.

How often do I change the carbon filters in my new Filtered Hoo-Rag?
As with any PM 2.5 mask, we recommend following the CDC Guidelines for more specific information. The PM 2.5 carbon filters typically last around a week of moderate use. While these time tables are dependant on someone’s usage please make sure to read the CDC guidelines thoroughly.
How many designs do the new Filtered Hoo-rags come in?

What does PM 2.5 stand for?
PM 2.5 stands for the term ‘fine particulate matter’ and represents air pollutant particles that are up to 2.5 µm in size and composition (Aerosol Aerodynamic Diameter is less than 2.5 µm).
What is a PM 2.5 Filter Mask?
PM 2.5 filter mask is a mask that features a cloth pocket with replaceable activated carbon filter inserts. The mask can sometimes be made from thin foam and feature a vent system for easier breathing (some provide better inhaling and others provide better exhaling system) and better isolation of nose and mouth from the particles.
What Does A PM 2.5 Filter Mask Protect You From?

What is a Filtered Hoo-rag?
Get that an extra level of protection and the comfort of a Hoo-rag with Hoo-rag Filtered! We took our microfiber, polyester bandana, and added a pocket on the inside where a PM 2.5 filter slides in. This double layer of protection blocks out dust particles, vehicle exhaust, pollen, and fumes, and more. When inserted these filters cover your nose and mouth when the bandana is worn as a face mask!

CUSTOM HOO-RAG FAQs
What do I need to make a custom Hoo-rag?
An idea of what you want to create and the art files to do it with! We accept EPS, AI or TIF files.
Can I get only one custom Hoo-rag?
At this time we do not print less than 24 units.
What are the minimums?
It depends on what your goal is. Group Packages, Promotional Use and Wholesale inquiries are all different. You can get a quote by filling out the appropriate form on our customs page.
Can I split designs?
You can get several packages should you choose, but we do not split packages.
Can I get licensed images printed?
At this time we will do custom work for companies (ie: Polaris, Red Bull, SoBe) but you must work for that company and have permission to use the logo.
What color options can I choose from?
Any colors you want!
How long does production take?
After design is done production takes up to 30 days.
Does it have to have a Hoo-Rag logo on it?
Yes.
SHIPPING FAQs
Do you offer overnight shipping as an option?
Usually we do, however with Covid-19 many carriers have informed us they are unable to meet overnight shipping deadlines so we’ve removed it for the time being. This way you’re not paying for a service you won’t get. We do have 3-day shipping as an option and highly recommend using that if you need it in a rush.
Does flat rate shipping come with a tracking number?
Flat rate shipping includes a tracking number on most purchases. If your confirmation is missing a tracking number your order did not qualify as a package and cannot be tracked.

How long will it take for my package to arrive if I order with priority shipping?
Once your order is filled and shipped, you can expect it to arrive in 1-3 days, but it will not be considered lost or delayed for up to 5 days.
What happens if I don’t receive my package?
Domestic shipments are considered lost after 14 days. International packages may take up to 30 days to arrive. If it’s been that long and you still don’t have your order, please call us or email orders@hoorag.com for assistance.
Does Hoo-Rag ship internationally?
Yes. At Checkout you can look through the “Country” drop-down menu. If your country is not listed we do not ship there. First class USPS is $9.99 and there are no guarantees the product will arrive. If you’d like to ship by FedEx or DHL, contact us at (888) 831-9344 to upgrade your shipping.
Will I have to pay customs or other brokerage fees for orders exported outside the U.S.?
It’s possible. The shipping cost you pay does not pre-pay entry preparation fees, taxes, duties or any other fee charged by your import/customs office. You may contact them in advance to see what you can expect to pay.
